In a bid to broaden its mobile industry with the latest technologies, the Chinese mobile giant, Realme, has confirmed that it is working on unveiling a new Realme GT 2 Explorer Master Edition, which will be the third family series of the GT 2 series after the GT 2 and GT 2 Pro.

As we discovered, the upcoming Realme GT 2 Explorer Master Edition was spotted on the Geekbench website ahead of the official launch, with the latest flagship chip – the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and runs on Android 12 with 12GB RAM.

The Realme President of Global Marketing, Xu Qi disclosed that the new smartphone will be unveiled next month, July while answering questions via Weibo user’s query.

Realme GT 2 Explorer Master Edition Specifications

Given the Geekbench listings, the new device comes with the model number RMX3551 and is powered by the giant Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC chip, with a 10 percent CPU and GPU gains over the predecessor.

In addition, the device scored 1296 and 4211 on Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests and runs Android 12 out of the box, with a layer of Realme UI 3.0 on top of Android. In terms of the storage capacity, the device is expected to be packed with different storage of higher capacities with at least 12GB of RAM.

Recall that earlier this month, we reported that a similar device was unveiled in the Chinese market. The device has a 6.7-inch 10802400 120 Hz AMOLED display that is flat and has a hole punch in the center for the 16 MP selfie camera. On the back, a triple camera system with two 50 MP sensors (wide + ultrawide) and a 2 MP depth sensor is attached.

Additionally, the similar Realme smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s most recent CPU, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and includes 4/6/8GB of RAM as well as 128/256/512GB of non-expandable storage. The device comes in three different colors: white, brown, and green, and also sports a fingerprint sensor on the display and a 5,000 mAh battery that charges at 100W to keep the lights on, and measures 161.3 x 74.3 x 8.2 mm and weighs 199g.

As it stands now, the official launch date of the new Realme GT 2 Explorer Master Edition has not been confirmed yet, though given Xu Qi statement the device is expected to arrive in July this year. Thus, stay connected with TechGenyz for more latest updates.
