The nostalgia of childhood shall be brought forth again with the release of the Japanese cartoon series now in the form of a PS4 game. A part of our childhood was well occupied by the notorious and funny instances of Shinchan, and we really cannot deny that we miss those times. Well, here is an opportunity to relive those days.

As announced by the companies, publisher Neos Corporation and developer Millennium Kitchen shall release Shinchan: Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation-The Endless Seven Day Journey for PlayStation 4 and Switch in August worldwide. The game shall support English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Japanese subtitle options.

The game is currently available for Switch in Japan; the initial PlayStation 4 release will be a digital copy only, although a physical edition has also been planned. More information regarding the physical release shall be revealed later. The Switch version of the game was launched in Japan on July 15, 2021, and on May 4, 2022, in Asia. The game had proved to be a major success and had surpassed 400,000 combined shipments and digital sales.

According to its official website, the game shall have the original Shinchan and the Nohara family at its center, and the plot of the story shall be based around them. This game will also introduce other characters such as the Hinoyama family, the Evil Professor, Yoshiko Kurogami, and others. The game is set around Assou in Kumamoto.

Overall, it is expected that we shall be able to relive, if not revive, our childhood days.
