Ahead of World Emoji Day, scheduled for the fourth quarter of the year, Emojipedia has just revealed sample designs for the new Emojis 15.0 via its official Twitter page.

The new Emojis 15.0 featured a shaking face, two pushing hands, and a plain pink heart for the years 2022 and 2023. According to the firm the new Emojis will be officially released in September this year.

According to the firm, Emoji 15.0 will most likely include a long-requested emoji: a plain Pink Heart. For many years, this has been one of the most discussed omissions from the emoji keyboard, with a Pink Heart ranking among the company’s assessments of the most popular emoji requests since 2016.

Along with Shaking Face and Pink Heart, the Emoji 15.0 draft list includes Light Blue Heart, Grey Heart, Donkey, Jellyfish, Hair Pick, and a Khanda – the Sikh faith’s symbol.

The firm pointed out that the Emojipedia sample images shared via its Twitter page are just one way in which these emojis might look, and were created by Emojipedia’s Head of Emoji Design, Joshua Jones.

Furthermore, according to the firm, actual vendor designs may differ from those released by major vendors, and Emojipedia’s sample images may be updated when Emoji 15.0 final is released because this is a draft emoji list, each emoji is subject to change before the final approval in September 2022.

With the new Emojis 15.0, Emojipedia has been providing the eighth year of sample emoji designs ahead of their official arrival on emoji keyboards. Moreover, the firm tasks fans and lovers to express their minds with the sample designs and vote for their favorite in the most anticipated Emoji category as part of the 2022 World Emoji Awards.

However, it should be noted that the majority of draft emoji candidates have ended up on the final list in recent years, including every emoji the firm previewed, for instance, last year’s Emoji 14.0 draft list ahead of World Emoji Day 2021.
