Netflix keeps rolling out some of the best web series and movies to keep the viewers hooked. Recently, the organization released the first look of Scrooge: A Christmas Carol.
The animated show is going to be an animated version of Charles Dickens’ holiday story. One of the show’s major highlights is that the Fast and Furious fame Luke Evans will give the voice to the story’s lead character, Ebenezer Scrooge.
The story revolves around Ebenezer Scrooge, who is an old man. His Christmas spirit will be revamped when he meets his different versions via some supernatural medium.
We can also say that the movie is going to further intensify the theory of the multiverse (Yes, I am a Marvel fan) but in a completely light-hearted way. Other celebrities who will join the cast are Olivia Colman as Past, Jessie Buckley as Isabel Fezzwig, Johnny Flynn as Bob Cratchit, and Sir Jonathan Pryce as Jacob Marley.
The direction of the film will be in the hands of Stephen Donelly, who is popular for his work as a director of Monster High: Welcome to the Monster High. He also worked as the designer and director in the TV series Lost in Oz.
Talking about the main story, Scrooge: A Christmas Carol was first written by Charles Dickens in the year 1843. The visual depiction of the story started in the twentieth century. Not only this, but it also has multiple radio adaptations.
The audience is already excited because the project is picked by Netflix, and we all know how Netflix works, with perfection, of course. Until now, there have been no updates regarding the launch date or timeline of the show.
However, expectations are that we will soon get to know the release date and other details related to the show.
