As far back as 2016, the Inspire 2 found its way into the drone market with a host of groundbreaking features. At the time of launch, the Chinese maker noted that the Inspire 2 takes everything good about the Inspire 1 and improves it. Since then, the firm has been working on the next generation drone – the Inspire 3.

Back in 2018, a notable leaker OsitaLV shared concept sketches of the upcoming Inspire 3. Then, the leaker reveals some possible specs the drone could feature. Hitherto, the builder is predicted to work on the new and upgraded version of the Inspire 2.

Unfortunately, the pandemic force stopped the building then. However, earlier this year, in a press release notice sent to its Chinese dealers, the firm revealed that it has continued with the development. Meanwhile, DJI leaker @DealsDrone shared a product launch roadmap, indicating that the Inspire 3 could be unveiled in September this year.

As per reports, the Inspire 3 is expected to feature a new O4 video transmission with dual RC, CineCore 3.1 image processing system, super 35 or large format CMOS sensor, recording video at up to 8K 75fps, 6K 100fps, 4K 200fps and no crop in every framerate. Other expected features areRAW 12 bit / ProRes 4444 XQ / 422 HQ, time code sync, Omni-directional obstacle avoidance, APAS Pro, high accuracymanoeuvringg, somatosensory gimbal control, portable video receiver for the director, and stepless iris adjustment.

However, as just discovered in a Twitter post today, the Inspire 3 has been leaked online ahead of its official launch. The photos show that the Inspire 3 drone will have foldable propellers, which is a first for this series. Meanwhile, the retractable landing gear from the previous generation has been retained.

In a similar report, over the weekend, the upcoming Inspire 3 was also revealed in a Twitter post disclosing that the next generation drive is ready to take off. The leak was revealed in an ancient smartphone and a video showing off the new DJI transmitter launched with the RS3 Pro. As it stands now, it is expected that the Inspire 3 will be officially announced, but the tech giant is yet to confirm the launch date. Follow TechGenyz for more updates.
