Chinese tech giant Lenovo is illustrious for the Legion series in several segments, but even some devices have not been the ones that the company ever asked for; while the case is not gargantuan anymore, today, on July 26, the company officially announced the new Legion Y70 smartphone with a poster to flaunt its handset design alongside the launch date of the handset.

The machine is due to release in August, but the firm hasn’t yet inaugurated the exact date. Lenovo has eventually broached the thing it had been steering away from. The machine can be seen in thinner design structures except for the powerful performance. Recently, it has been reported that the handset was listed on Geekbench and CMIIT certification sites. Lenovo sailed to Weibo to unfold the surprise announcements of Lenovo Legion Y70.

The company has shared an impressive imposter showing the phone’s rear camera. The smartphone embraces a three-eyed rear camera setup mounted on the edge of the device with a narrow ridge. The poster also reaffirms the launch of the device. The setup is not what we expected it to be, but raising an interrogation is unnecessary.

Astonishingly, the poster also unveils one of the superior features of the phone. The handset will feature a 50-megapixel main camera partnered with OIS. Before the official heads up, the device has already been exhibited on Geekbench and the CMIIT website, which leaves its major specifications.

The machine’s processor is still an unresolved mystery because CMIIT shows that the phone features a 3.0GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip, although the Geekbench 5 running score indicates that the device may feature a 3.2GHz Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 Soc.

If we amalgamate both the knots, the device may be featured with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chip paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The machine is likely to be featured with a 6.67-inch OLED screen offering a resolution of 2400 × 1080.

As mentioned earlier, the device will feature a 50-megapixel rear camera. The device has support for an 8K video recording. The device gets its power source from a 4,000mAh battery which drains the power supply of 66W blazingly fast charging.

On the outlook front, the device will arrive with its processor traits. The device will have a fingerprint sensor placed exactly below the volume button on the right edge of the device. The smartphone weighs 205 grams and is 7.99mm thick. It has been reported that the device will be available in two gleaming colors: Silver and Grey.
