MultiVersus is a free-to-play that features numerous well-known characters. The game has already launched in certain ways with Open Beta, but it hasn’t yet begun its first season and is presently offering a pre-season Battle Pass that offers perhaps less stuff at a reasonable cost. Given that First Games has never revealed any details on the Battle Pass or its price, fans have been wondering about it.

The launch of MultiVersus is just a few days away, and the game’s director, Tony Huynh, has provided some information on what we might anticipate from the Season 1 Battle Pass.

The Preseason Battle Pass is accessible till August 8 and offers two options: a free version with prizes that can be earned by any player and a premium option with accessibility to the top tiers of cosmetics that can be earned.

The official release date for MultiVersus was scheduled for August 9. However, the official MultiVersus has announced that Season 1 and the public game launch will be delayed, and the Pre-Season Battle Pass has been extended to August 15. Although the exact date hasn’t been revealed, the expected Season 1 launch date is August 16.

Two battle passes are presently available in the game, one of them being free, while the other requires Gleamium. The Gleamium can only presently be purchased with actual money from the game store. The current pre-season Fighter’s Pass costs require 300 Gleamium which costs $4.99.

According to Tony, the MultiVersus Season 1 Battle Pass will require 950 Gleamium, and players will have to purchase a 1000 Gleamium pack, which will cost them $9.99. Furthermore, it will have 50 tiers in total.

Conclusion

In addition to allowing players for competitive play, the game’s first season will mark the first appearance of Rick from Rick and Morty. Moreover, several renowned and trustworthy MultiVersus leakers also provided a wide list of characters, including Joker, Raven, and many more. We’ll have to wait and see whether the First Games verifies these characters or if the claims are untrue.
