As we expect the official launch of the long-awaited iPhone 14 in the next few months, the popular Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed today that India will ship the new 6.1 iPhone 14 simultaneously with China for the first time.

Ming-Chi Kuo disclosed this in his latest survey via its official twitter page. According to him, Foxconn’s iPhone production site in India will ship the new 6.1″ iPhone 14 almost simultaneously with China for the first time in the second half of the year, 2022. He relied on the pretext that India was one quarter or more behind in the past.

However, the popular Apple analyst further maintains that India’s iPhone capacities/shipments still have a considerable gap with China, but it’s an important milestone for Apple in building a non-Chinese iPhone production site.

In all, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo concluded that Apple is trying to reduce the geopolitical impacts on supply and sees the Indian market as the next key growth driver. Meanwhile, given the latest analysis, it is expected that we will witness simultaneous shipments from both China and India for the first time.

Similarly, recall that earlier this week, the same Apple analyst conceded that the upcoming iPhone 14 is expected to feature a 7P lens with Sunny Optical as the sole supplier. According to him then, in the most recent supply chain data, Sunny Optical is receiving a higher share of Apple’s orders. Even though the less expensive iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max do not receive the 48 MP primary camera update like the Pro models, the 7P lens may slightly improve image quality.

As scheduled, the official launch of the long-awaited iPhone 14 is the fourth quarter of the year, which is in a few months. Therefore, it is expected to see all the phone components intact ahead of time. Thus, Stay connected with TechGenyz as we bring you the latest updates in the Tech world.
