Over the years, WhatsApp has been known for its dedication to ensuring user convenience by introducing user-friendly features to improve their experience. In maintaining this stand, the firm is pleased to announce that it is working on a new tab for the WhatsApp Desktop beta.

According to wabetainfo, the new feature is still under development but will be released soon. Wabetainfo disclosed this today in a post revealing that the American instant messaging service is bringing communities in a future update of WhatsApp beta for Android, iOS, and Desktop.

The upcoming feature named “Communities,” when officially rolled out, will be bringing a communities tab right within the chat list header on the web/desktop client to allow users to be able to open communities at home.

In addition, it will be possible to create a new community right within the community’s home, in the future. Note that the same feature is also under development on WhatsApp beta for Android and WhatsApp beta for iOS.

WhatsApp is a well-known cross-platform text messaging application that lets users communicate with one another and make phone calls solely over the internet. Over two billion people use the most popular messenger on the planet each month.

The app is one of the best messaging apps, with audio and video calls on the app being its most crucial feature. This indicates that you will be able to call contacts on your contact list who are also utilizing this app for free. Additionally, this eliminates the messaging package and recently introduced services.

As it stands now, the social media service has not fixed a particular date for the release of the communities tab feature, but we expect to see it soon as Wabetainfo discloses that it is underdevelopment.
