A few days ago, a leaked video by DJI insider Jasper Ellens via Twitter showed DJI’s Avata cine whoop hovering indoors, controlled by the FPV Controller. The video affirmed that the upcoming DJI Avata is compatible with FPV Controller.

The FPV Controller is the standard regulator used with DJI’s FPV drone. One of the company’s more introductory regulators, offering no screen. The regulator does give some unique options, like a devoted launch/ stop button on the reverse and a rope anchor on the front.

However, as we just discovered via a Twitter post this morning, the battery capacity of the upcoming DJIAvata has been revealed. As per the leak, the new device is expected to last for 18 minutes, but when drained, it will only last for like 12 minutes.

Meanwhile, the leaker further pointed out that the Intelligent Flight Battery has a rated capacity of 35.71 Wh and a powerful battery life of approximately 18 minutes. With a built-in DJI Intelligent Battery Management System, battery status is monitored and reported in real-time, allowing users to focus less on power levels and more on flying.

Similarly, the leak confirmed the compatibility with DJI Avata Drone, fly and shoot with more freedom and confidence, and approximately 18 minutes of flight time. Given the leaks, it seems that DJI is close to releasing the Avata, its next-generation first-person view (FPV) drone. In a similar report, DJI is expected to offer the Avata in two quintet packs, starting with the Fly Smart Combo at $1168 with the FPV Goggles V2 and DJI V1 stir Controller.

Also, the Avata will be available in a Pro-View Combo for $1388, which barters the FPV Goggles V2 for the DJI Goggles 2. Alternatively, the drone will bring $629, with the DJI Goggles 2 merchandising for $649. Moreover, DroneXL adds that the DJI Goggles 2 stir Quintet will be priced at $759 with the DJI Goggles 2 and V1 stir Controller. Reportedly, DJI will unveil the Avata and its accessories on August 23. Follow TechGenyz for more updates.
