Fans of Dying Light 2 now have a sneak peek at the upcoming story DLC, thanks to a new teaser, with a full reveal scheduled for Gamescom 2022. The release of the first significant piece of DLC was postponed until September. However, a new trailer for Dying Light 2 Bloody Ties has been released today with the assurance that a full reveal will take place at Gamescom.

With sales of well over 5 million units, Dying Light 2: Stay Human has been a great achievement for Techland. And the studio plans to continue supporting it with DLC in the coming years, just like with the first game.

There aren’t many spoilers in the video. The most recent Dying Light 2 Bloody Ties teaser, despite being only 36 seconds long, provides some significant details for fans. Two fighters face off against one another in what initially appeared to be an arena-style setting called Carnage Hall. These fighters approach the helmet-like skull that is positioned in the foreground and grab it shortly after one of them prevails in the fight.

The DLC appears to be building on what Techland did with the first game by offering distinctive interactions that incorporate concepts that weren’t included in the main game.

According to the trailer’s final statement, more details will be revealed during Gamescom 2022 on August 23. Nevertheless, a considerable leak last month showed off a number of 3D models and other content from what many assumed to be the forthcoming DLC pack. A recent data mine for Dying Light 2 implied that the game’s first significant expansion might have a gladiator theme.

Dying Light 2 Bloody Ties secures a spot at the upcoming Gamescom 2022 by participating in the Opening Night Live to display the first extensive gameplay. Game players can expect a big opening night for Gamescom. This year’s Gamescom will take place physically and virtually, and we expect to see additional big game showcases.
