The Meta-owned Instant messaging app WhatsApp has bagged more than 2.4 billion users globally with its transcendent user interface and features. As a venerable platform, WhatsApp has a lot more things to get over the fence.

To keep up the process, WhatsApp has just submitted a new incredible update for iOS through the App Store; the update comes under the version up to 22.17.77. This update ensures the impressive ability to easily transfer the chat history from Android devices to iOS within the official changelog.

Probably, you might ponder what can be done if you switch to iOS from Android; it has already been hard enough for Android users to depart from the long-visited place to the iPhone. Synchronously, with the instant messaging app, we couldn’t do anything about transporting the chats, media, and other pivotal information from your Android device to your iPhone. In the long run, this could put an end to switching from Android devices to iPhones; unlike other apps, WhatsApp has been there with the users from the beginning.

The app knows all the emotions the users have been going through, so it is not that much easy thing to drop out. Further, you aren’t ready to say goodbye to your old WhatsApp data. Howbeit, with this new stable 22.17.77 update, WhatsApp grants you to move your WhatsApp chat history from Android to iOS. But, you can’t transfer call history and display name. The new version is available on the App Store to all users on iOS 12 and newer versions.

Apart from the changes, the company also mentioned the max file size limit of up to 2GB and the ability to create groups with up to 512 participants; the official changelog also stated that you can now transfer your WhatsApp chat history from Android to iOS. A month back, WhatsApp officially announced these features in a tweet, but the changelog reaffirms it in another way.
