In recent times, the subsidiary company owned by the Chinese electronics company Xiaomi, Redmi, has been rumored to be working on its first tablet. However, the mobile brand neither disputed nor confirmed the coming of this tablet. Since then, users around the world have been anticipating the release of the first Redmi tablet.

Amazingly, the tablet is finally officially on the net, just one step away from its official release. The images of the upcoming Redmi tablet are currently rendered on the Internet in China and overseas.

Redmi Tablet Design

The images shared by the leaker online show that the upcoming Redmi tablet uses a metal-integrated body with a right-angle frame and a single camera on the back. Still, the shape of the module looks similar to the just-launched Mi Pad 5 Pro 12.6.

Aside from the metal integrated body and right-angle frame, the images also show that the positioning of this device belongs to the entry-level, focusing on online courses and video experience, and its performance will be slightly weaker.

Redmi Tablet Specs

As per the report, the device is expected to be equipped with a 10.6-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2000 × 1200 and support for high brushing. While for the processor core, the MediaTek MT8781 processor, which is based on the 6nm process manufactured by TSMC, will equip the device.

However, given the leaked certification information, the new tablet is expected to have a built-in 7800mAh battery, and the MIUI 13 system will be pre-installed at the factory. Currently, there is no information on whether the tablet will feature a 4G or 5G internet connection, but a WiFi network is supported therein.

Pricing

As it stands now, the official launching date of the new Redmi tablet has not been announced yet. However, given the components of the device, it is expected to price in the range of 1,500 yuan, about RM973. Thus, stay connected with TechGenyz as we bring you the latest updates in the tech world.
