Back in July this year, the Taiwanese multinational electronics company ASUS released the greatest gaming smartphone – the ROG Phone 6 Pro. Now, it seems the mobile brand is working on another upgraded version of the device – the Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate, as it just visited the TENAA certifications center.

The upcoming Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate looks almost identical to the ROG Phone 6 Pro, sans what seems to be a motorized cooling vent, as revealed via the TENAA database.

As per reports, the new gaming device is expected to function as a brand new superior cooling system that enables airflow, unlike any ROG smartphone earlier. Now, let’s check out the device design and specs.

Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate Design

As TENAA database pictures confirm the design of the new Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate, the device looks almost identical to the ROG Phone 6 Pro. However, the ROG Phone 6D Final renders and the new TENNA pictures also feature a very similar – but not identical – back design.

At the same time, the module is some sort of motorized air duct designed to help the 6D Final cool down even more. The module is supposed to open and shut and will trace several issues caused by the leak. Thus, it’s possible that Asus created a new AeroActive Cooler specifically for the 6D to make it compatible with the air duct. Alternatively, perhaps the current AeroActive 6 cooler can already do this with ease. The possibility of having an inner fan participate in the 6D Final represents a rather bolder possibility.

Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate Specs

The new Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate is expected to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset and sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with an anticipated 165Hz refresh rate. Also on the hardware list – is a Sony IMX 766 50MP main camera and a 6,000 mAh battery split into two cells with 65W charging support.

Meanwhile, aside from the Qualcomm to MediaTek, the new Dimensity ROG Phone 6D models will also feature what Asus calls the best cooling solution ever on a ROG Phone, allowing airflow unlike any other ROG Phone before.

Launching Date

As per early rumors, the new ROG Phone 6D Ultimate is expected to be officially launched come September 19th this year. Therefore, if it stands, we expect to receive the gaming device by this month’s end. Stay connected with TechGenyz as we bring you the latest updates in the tech world.
