The Ryu Ga Gotoku team has confirmed that you can switch betwixt Ichi and Kiryu as it is a dual protagonist game.
The official announcement of the trailer confirms that Yakuza Like a Dragon 8 will be your other turn-based RPG game. The Like a Dragon 8 trailer revealed posted an end card before revealing too much. The trailer for Yakuza kicks off by featuring a palpable silhouette of Ichiban Kasuga sauntering down the streets of colorful Kamurucho.
Later a man with a tenebrous figure gives an appearance before it’s too late, revealed to be Kazuma Kiryu. Kiryu, with new styling greying hair, makes him an old gangster in the town. The two stylish men walk together on the street while the dialogue of Kiryu silently murmurs, “guess we don’t have a choice,” and Ichi says it’s “hero time.”
The camera then slightly tilts to show up a close-up shot of them. Perhaps, this could be the official revelation of the game, but even before the summit, we have known about the game for a while. A few months ago, Famitsu offered a partial glance at Yakuza 8 in a few seconds of footage, revealing that Ishi, Nanba, and Adachi will be the center of attention in the game.
