Samsung To Unveil New AI-Based Diagnostic Solutions At the 2022 ISUOG World Congress in London

As the world sets to witness another edition of the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology, ISUOG, World Congress 2022 in London, the U.K., from the 16th to 18th of September this month.

Samsung Diagnostic Solutions

An affiliate of the South Korean tech giant and global medical equipment company, Samsung Medison, has revealed today that it will be showcasing its clinical values and efficiencies of the Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based diagnostic solutions through various scientific programs at the Congress.

According to the firm, Samsung’s Clinical Values will be showcased on the 18th of September at 12:35 p.m, where Prof. Julien Stirnemann from Necker Hospital, France, will be delivering research results on the clinical values of two AI diagnostic solutions: BiometryAssist, which measures the growth and condition of a fetus and HeartAssist, which improves the workflow when diagnosing a fetal heart.

Also, Professor Antonia Testa, the Scientific Director of the Center for Ultrasound in Gynecological Oncology Class Ultrasound of the Agostino Gemelli University Hospital, Rome, Italy, will be demonstrating her experience with SonoSync, a real-time ultrasound image-sharing solution during Samsung’s Symposium. 

Furthermore, Samsung pointed out that Professor Antonia Testa will use a HERA W10 system at Gemelli Hospital in Rome as a remote access point from the ISUOG venue in London to demonstrate the ease of use and advantages of image sharing as a second opinion.

Moreover, Samsung will host four Hospitality Suite programs on-site that will feature lectures and live product demonstrations for customers to experience high-performance diagnostic tools like MV-FlowTM, which is used to see the presence of micro-blood flow and the slow flow of microvascular structures.

Through the virtual platform of ISUOG, Samsung will, six times throughout the congress, show online webinars in addition to the scientific programs that will be presented on-site. On the ISUOG website and the Samsung Healthcare website, you can get more information about Samsung’s scientific initiatives.

Additionally, Samsung will display its HERA W10 premium obstetric and gynecological ultrasound equipment. The HERA W10 system comes with Intelligent Assist (AI diagnostic solutions), V8, and V7, two top-of-the-line ultrasound systems that can be employed with premium AI diagnostic solutions and in a variety of medical specialties.

Reacting to the new AI Diagnostic Solutions, Kyu Tae Yoo, Senior Vice President, Head of Sales & Marketing Team of Samsung Medison, said the firm will continuously proceed forward introducing diagnostic solutions for medical professionals and patients.
