We can doggedly build the gaming phone vicinity with ASUS machines. The smartphone maker bestrides the gaming phone market with its excellent ROG Phone series, and one of the significant parts of that incredible expedition has involved Qualcomm Snapdragon. All these times, ASUS worked alongside Qualcomm to delicately make the nuanced hardware to the shell.

Merely, every machine under the ROG series featured Snapdragon chipsets. But, now the company is prepping its new devices with Dimensity Chipset. ASUS has been teasing the ROG Phone 6D and ROG Phone 6D Ultimate for a while. Eventually, now the company revealed the machines.

To wring out every aspect of performance from the MediaTek chipset, ASUS has built a cooling system to keep the heat away from the device.

Qualcomm VS Dimensity

Geekbench scores of Snapdragon Gen1 processors have been exposed on the internet; surprisingly, it has outstripped the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset performance even though it was a close call. Single core points of Qualcomm Snapdragon Gen1 secured 1323 points, whereas the Dimensity bagged 1353 points. On the flip side, Qualcomm Snapdragon reached 4322 points on the multi-core front while the Dimensity rug swept the stage with 4404 points.

ASUS ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate specifications

ASUS ROG Phone 6D and the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate sprints on the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset. What separates the machines is the memory options. The Ultimate clings up to 16GB/512GB, while the standard edition appreciates the 16GB/256GB. The two machine shares the same screen 6.78-inch OLED panel partnered with 10-bit color depth. The machine has the support of 165Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ capabilities.

The camera segment remains an unchanged quintessence 50MP 1/1.56″ sensor with 1.0µm pixels and f/1.9 lens on the primary sensor teamed up with 13 MP f/2.2, ultrawide shooter, and 5MP macro camera. The front camera has a 12MP sensor for beautiful portraits. Both handsets allow the same verdict when it comes to Battery capacity; the machine has a built-in battery capacity of 6,000 mAh, supporting up to 65W fast charging over USB Power Delivery.
