Epic Games has announced its in-game celebration of Fortnite 5th anniversary celebration with new quests, rewards including free skins, and a lot more. The game’s five-year journey is being commemorated in this seemingly modest fashion, but there’s no disputing how far the game has progressed since 2017.
When does the celebration event for Fortnite’s 5th anniversary begin?
Despite the fact that Fortnite Battle Royale’s premiere date is September 26, 2017, the celebrations of 5th anniversary actually begin on September 23, 2022, at 9 AM ET or 6 am PT.
In a blog post yesterday, Epic announced the news and listed the additions that would be released to coincide with its anniversary. There will be many new tasks, to begin with, that include the presents that players will discover in the world and eating birthday cake.
Fortnite 5th anniversary celebration events
There have been plans revealed for Fortnite Battle Royale’s fifth birthday party, and new free stuff will be offered. Epic Games will add a series of special in-game quests, and a Fortography showcase, obviously with a birthday theme.
Fortography, the activity of shooting distinctive images inside of Fortnite, is a way for Epic to urge users to enjoy the game. It should come as no surprise that the topic of this festive time is “Celebrating a Birthday.” The hashtag #FNBR5 should be used to post images to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter. Reddit users may use the Fortography flair to submit their images on the r/FortniteBR community.
Moreover, it’s been rumored that Epic Games will organize a party and, the same as last year, there will be birthday cakes scattered around the map. Apart from the game, some social media challenges have also been planned to mark the game’s 5th anniversary.

As expected, a brand-new, upgraded Battle Bus playing Happy Birthday will be in attendance. Birthday Cake that restores hp will also be scattered over the map, as well as Birthday Presents filled with special items.
