Xiaomi Unveils Mijia Modular Robot For ¥3599 Featured Arm Processor, Emotional Interaction

Earlier today, we witnessed the official launch of the new Xiaomi Civi 2 smartphone, the Xiaomi noise-canceling Bluetooth headset, and several other new products at the new product launch conference in China. Aside from the above new products, the Chinese tech giant also announced unveiling a new Mijia modular robot this afternoon.

The new robot launched for 3599 yuan, adopts a modular design, which can be assembled repeatedly, supports emotional interaction, expands Clipbo modules, and has many configurations which can be played at will. Now, let’s take a look at the designs and programming of the new Xiaomi robot.

The new Xiaomi Mijia modular robot has a modular design that allows for easy re-assembly, enables Clipbo module extension, and has a wide variety of configurations that can be switched out at will.

Additionally, the device contains a built-in Arm architecture CPU in addition to the applicable combo. It also uses a self-developed single-bus communication protocol to provide flexible control of the full body module and emotional engagement. 

Meanwhile, the control uses a Mijia ultra-small servo motor that offers great torque and a smooth rotation and is equipped with a range of sensors to support touch perception, motion detection, gesture recognition, and visual identification. Likewise, a ring indication light is also included for splicing direction.

Accordingly, it is very important to note that the new Mijia modular robot may be programmed manually and supports action programming as well. The robot joints can be turned to record important actions such as movement speed, angle, and trajectory without using any code. The robot also supports graphical programming, allowing users to drag and drop command modules to perform more sophisticated operations and motions.

Mijia Modular Robot Passed China 3C Certification

Additionally, the new Xiaomi Mijia Modular Robot has passed China’s mandatory 3C certification related to national safety and quality marks. Likewise, the new device also offers a choice of attachments to select from, including a foot module that enables pressure sensing and an extension rod module with smart lighting effects.

Pricing 

According to the Chinese tech giant, the new Mijia modular robot is officially launched for 3999 yuan. However, due to the launch offer by the company, the robot will now be priced at 3599 yuan as the initial launch price.
