However, aside from these three models, the Tata Tiago EV can potentially expand the appeal of the electric vehicle to most Indians.
Tiago EV and Tiago Compared
The Tiago EV and the “ordinary” Tiago are largely comparable. However, it does have some distinguishing features on the outside, such as blue accents. Instead of a gear lever, there is a rotary dial within.
To begin with, the Tiago EV has an automatic gearbox as standard equipment. Additionally, it features cruise control, an eight-speaker Harman sound system, automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, connected car technologies, and more.
Tiago EV Runs 315km In One Charge
Regarding the Tata Tiago’s range, its 19.2 kWh battery pack type can travel 250 km on a single full charge. The variant with the 24 kWh battery pack, on the other hand, can travel 315 km on a single full charge. These range-related numbers have been made public based on test results.
Battery Packs and Charging Time
There are two battery options for the Tata Tiago EV. Customers will have the choice between a 19.2 kWh and a 24 kWh battery pack. Both of these battery packs have different capacities for both charge and range. Given that every client has varied driving needs, Tata Motors will attempt to serve each of its diverse customer bases with various battery packs.
At the same time, the new Tiago EV enables fast charging and can be fueled from 10% to 80% in 57 minutes using a DC fast charger. Of course, this is the best and fastest time to charge.
Pricing and Delivery
The Tiago EV’s starting ex-showroom pricing has been maintained by Tata Motors at Rs 8.49 lakh. At the same time, the top variant’s ex-showroom cost is Rs 11.79 lakh. These Tata Tiago rates, nevertheless, will only be good for the first 10,000 reservations. Additionally, 2,000 bookings are set aside for Tata Motors’ long-time EV clients.
However, the pricing may then be modified after that. According to the auto brand, starting from October 10, next month, the firm will begin booking for the cars, while the electric vehicle will begin to be delivered starting in January of next year. Follow TechGenyz for more updates.
