In a bid to expand its blockchain industry, the Japanese entertainment conglomerate and video game company Konami has revealed today that it is looking for talented tech gurus who will work on its Web 3.0 and Metaverse projects. The Japanese gaming giant disclosed this today in a press release titled: “Recruitment of WEB3 and Metaverse Development Personnel”
“Konami Digital Entertainment announces that we will be recruiting a wide range of talent for “system construction” and “service development” to provide new experiences such as WEB3 and Metaverse.
We have been conducting research and development to incorporate the latest technology into games and content. We plan to launch a service where players can trade their in-game NFTs (digital items) through a unique distribution platform using blockchain.”
According to the firm, it will be recruiting a wide range of talent for “system construction” and “service development” to provide new experiences such as WEB3 and Metaverse. In recent years, Konami has been conducting research and development to incorporate the latest technology into games and contents and plans to launch a service where players can trade their in-game NFTs through a unique distribution platform using blockchain.
However, Konami further noted that the application aims to strengthen its structuring and accelerate its business. Additionally, with the recruitment, the firm hopes to expand its business to evolve with a new future for digital entertainment. Meanwhile, according to them, fourteen positions are currently available for the WEB3 and metaverse development personnel in three different departments, namely;
Infrastructure Development Division
System Engineer, Programmer, Project Manager, Business Development
Production & Operation Division
Producer, Director, Programmer, Designer, Planner, Project Manager
Production Support Division
Legal, Intellectual Property, Finance & Accounting
