Atomic Heart is set to release concurrently across all major platforms, including Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on February 21, 2023.

Atomic Heart gameplay and story

In Atomic Heart, the government hires P-3, a mentally ill KGB special agent, to look into a closed-down industrial facility. Atomic Heart is a Fallout-style action-adventure game, and P-3 serves as the game’s main character. Combat in Atomic Heart is centered around a piece of superpower technology called the Glove, which has the ability to shoot lightning and launch objects into the sky.

The story takes place in the era of the 1950s Soviet Union where World War 2 led to the development of robotic systems and other cutting-edge technologies. Since then, previously helpful robots have turned against their inventors, and numerous covert experiments have unintentionally produced dangerous mutations that have ruined your own goal.

When the game launches on its announced release date of February 21, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will get free access. Pre-orders for the PC version of the game are currently being accepted on Steam.
