The fourth edition of the annual Huawei Developer Conference has begun live in China, with developers and professionals around the world discussing groundbreaking innovations. The 2022 edition theme, “HDC Together,” to build a better future for all, kicked off at exactly 07:30 AM CET today, 4th November online.

According to the Chinese tech giant, this edition will showcase game-changing capabilities in Huawei’s Smart Home, Smart Office, Entertainment, Easy Travel, and Fitness and Health domains, as well as provide fresh insight into HarmonyOS, the world’s fastest-growing mobile device operating system. Step into a Harmony World To Flourishing Ecosystem

Tweeting via its official Twitter page, Huawei noted that the company would continue to advance the Harmony Ecosystem to empower developers by stepping into a Harmony World. To achieve this, the company stated that over 320 million Huawei devices are powered by this thriving ecosystem, making HarmonyOS a crucial pillar.

Huawei further noted that with the HarmonyOS, apps are powered by computing vision and natural language interactions for visually or hearing-impaired users. At the same time, elder care capabilities are now open-sourced, helping the elderly keep pace with the digital world.

HarmonyOS features comprehensive security architecture from chip-level and system-level to ecosystem security. HarmonyOS new Atomic Service is an innovative service widget experience with system-level, multi-entry, and cross-device features. Utilize it as a building block to enable code sharing between apps, which will reduce repetitive effort and provide more features, such as AI Search, to the system.

At the same time, the company at the Huawei Developer Conference 2022 also announced a super device delivering a breakthrough in seamless cross-device connectivity. This can utilize cloud services to collaborate and connect your devices, enabling simple connectivity that just makes life better.
