Fallout: New Vegas director has hinted Fallout sequel in the future, but it is too early to predict whether or not this will actually happen.

Josh Sawyer, who directed New Vegas, shared his enduring love of Fallout during an interview with Kinda Funny Games. Sawyer was questioned there about Fallout and if he would ever work on another game in the series after New Vegas. In addition to answering the questions, he made some suggestions for potential locations for a Fallout New Vegas sequel game.

On top of that, Sawyer has plans for where he’d take the Fallout: New Vegas sequel -“It would be fascinating to see California or the Midwest. As a director, I obviously have to be enthusiastic about it, but it also has to be something that the team is enthused about and that fits within the overall concept of the IP.”

Many gamers believe that New Vegas is the finest Fallout game the franchise has ever developed. Despite the fact that it has been more than ten years since the Fallout: New Vegas release, many continue to hold out hope that a sequel will be released at some point.

Even earlier this year, there were rumors that an Xbox sequel was in the early stages of development. This is because Microsoft now owns Xbox and both companies, but nothing turned out to be true.

It is worth noting here that the CEO of Obsidian Entertainment, Feargus Urquhart, has also expressed his company’s desire to work on a further new Fallout game. However, we’ll have to wait and see if Obsidian starts working on the Fallout sequel.  The development of Fallout 5 has been confirmed by Todd Howard, although it seems like it will take a very, very long time.

This week, Josh Sawyer has received a lot of media attention. That makes sense too, especially in light of Pentiment’s recent launch. Pentiment has received appreciation for its stunning aesthetic and compelling story.
