As India is excited to welcome the latest POCO F5 to the country market in the coming December this year, Ahead of the launch date, a new POCO smartphone has been spotted visiting the EEC certification center.
The POCO F5, which will succeed the POCO F4 earlier release this year, has been one of the most anticipated smartphones in the mobile industry. However, based on the leaked EEC document, the new POCO phone differs from the anticipated POCO F5.
Judging from the shows that the new POCO smartphone is a distinct device as it comes with the POCO 23049PCD8G model number. Equally, the document shows that the upcoming smartphone is a POCO brand and is manufactured by Xiaomi Communications in China.

Unfortunately, the EEC document didn’t reveal either the design or specifications of the new POCO 23049PCD8G smartphone. However, we expect that the upcoming POCO phone will feature design and specs similar to the POCO F5, as it will succeed the device.

Meanwhile, going by the earlier reports, the POCO F5 is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 chipset along with the help of an Octa-core CPU presenting a dual layout of Kryo 560. The smartphone is configured with 8GB RAM of 128GB and an Adreno 619L GPU.

The manufacturer equips the POCO F5 with a Super AMOLED display and Corning Gorilla Glass version 5. With a dimension of 6.7 inches, this display has punch holes. This display’s additional features include a 120Hz refresh rate, 393ppi pixel density, and a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels.

On the back of the POCO F5, three cameras meet users’ photographic needs. A 64MP f/1.8 Wide-Angle Camera serves as the primary camera. The secondary cameras are an 8MP f/2.2 Ultra-Wide Angle Camera and a 5MP f/2.4 Camera. A single 32MP camera with an f/2.45 aperture is also available on the front.
