A number of recent job listings from Riot Games suggest that a Valorant console version for Xbox or PlayStation is possibly in the works.

Valorant has been successful in establishing itself as a beloved tactical first-person shooter game that combines the best gameplay and features from other shooting games. The PlayStation and Xbox versions of Valorant have never actually been released by Riot Games. There have been rumors before, but because there have been no official statements, many console users have given up hope that it will ever do so.

New job listing for Riot Games hints Valorant console version for Xbox and PlayStation.

A job posting for a Game Design Manager for Riot Games appeared gaming-specific recruitment site on November 17. The requirement for expertise “developing on multiple platforms, PC, Mobile, and Console” is stated in the job description, which also stresses the significance of expecting the demands of players on all key platforms.

Further, an advertisement for a Senior Game Designer for consoles has since been posted followed by this. The job description demonstrates that these positions are for the Valorant console version. The company is seeking someone to “help bring console gaming titles to market,” according to a new job listing posted on November 23.

Riot intends to offer its well-known shooting game on all possible platforms. It seems quite possible that Valorant will be heading to PlayStation and Xbox platforms, but fans will want to wait for an official confirmation from Riot Games.

Fans shouldn’t anticipate a console version to release any time soon because Valorant Mobile is still under development.  It’s interesting that the job description makes no mention of the systems for which the game will be developed. The Nintendo Switch might possibly get its own version, although the Xbox and PlayStation seem the most likely, as the job listing mentions all relevant platforms.
