Microsoft and Sony Wish Not To Want Each Other’s Gaming Services On Their Platforms

Microsoft and Sony are rooting off numerous things from cubbyholes formed by both companies. The statement made by both companies, demonstrated recently by the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), unveiled many riveting points. Apart from their stance on the proposed $69 billion Activision Blizzard acquisition, it offers discernment into the previous interactions between the two companies.

You might have known that Sony and Microsoft tried delivering to bring their services to each other’s platforms. Sony points out Microsoft’s reply to its proposal.

“Microsoft’s stance that Game Pass availability on PlayStation would be a panacea for the harm from this Transaction rings particularly hollow given that Microsoft does not permit PlayStation Plus to be available on Xbox,” Sony says in its statement.

In reply to Sony, Microsoft says that the same snow downpoured to Xbox when Microsoft attempted to provide its service to PlayStation. In its report, Microsoft instantaneously says that Sony itself blocked Game Pass from PlayStation.
