Pete Lau: Four Generations Oxygen OS and Five Years of Security Updates on Selected Oneplus Devices in 2023

OnePlus is salling forth to roll out one of the most anticipated updates. Pete Lau, the founder of OnePlus, just undisclosed that the users will get four generations of Oxygen OS and five years of security updates in the year 2023. The updates will travel along with selected devices.

According to an official blog post, the new updates were taken place at the open ear forums. At the same time, another meeting is slated to be held on December 7th, 2022. We can expect more information to be sealed out to the people. On the community page of OnePlus, it had been mentioned that OnePlus is keenly working on better smartphone usage.

The company hasn’t yet provided the list of devices that will get the five years of security updates. OnePlus also said that the meeting in London went well, and users can expect numerous spectacular things, including keeping the update on the device for a more extended period with regular updates. Rolling out new updates with exciting features would be an essential thing in keeping users’ attention; Apple is a pioneer in the market, and maybe OnePlus is obliged to follow the path of Apple.
