Just last month, in November, Honor officially announced the Honor 80 series in the Chinese market. Now, the mobile brand has posted a teaser on its Weibo page, announcing a new smartphone launch this coming Monday, December 26.

The duo of Honor smartphones coming new next week Monday are the Honor 80 GT and Honor V8 Pro tab. Just last week, the Honor 80 GT got the 3C certification in China. Now, let’s look at Honor’s upcoming smartphones.

The Honor Tab V8 Pro

Given the posted teaser on its Weibo page, the Honor Tab V8 Pro will be officially introduced next Monday, December 26, alongside the Honor 80 GT.  The teaser image shows that the camera design and volume rocker placement suggest that the upcoming Honor Pad is entirely distinct and new.

The World’s first IMAX Enhanced Tablet

At the same time, the Honor Tab V8 Pro is said to be the world’s first IMAX Enhanced tablet, featuring a 12.1-inch screen, a Dimension 8100 chipset, 33W charging, and MagicOS 7. Likewise, the tablet is confirmed to support a stylus and keyboard dock. As it stands, much has not been revealed about the upcoming Honor tablet, but we expect to know more come December 26 at the launch conference.

The Honor 80 GT

Honor 80 GT will be the fourth phone in the 80 series unveiled just last month. Unlike the Honor 80 and Honor 80 Pro, the island does not appear to be styled with the number 8, which may alternatively be taken as the sign for infinity. It will feature three vertically stacked cameras.

Additionally, the teaser shows triple rear cameras, a meteor-like effect for the back, and the text also confirms a 54MP 1/1.49-inch sensor, which should be IMX800.

According to prior rumors, the phone would continue to run on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Soc, which will be reduced in speed from 3.2GHz to 3GHz. It also includes a 1.5K 120Hz OLED screen that supports 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

The phone is confirmed to come in Interstellar Black, Streamer Mirror, and Light Rain Meteor color options, as well as 12GB+256GB and 16GB+256GB editions.

As not many details about the upcoming devices have been revealed yet, particularly the Honor tab, we anticipate more details in the coming days before the devices go official next week. Thus, connected with TechGenyz.
