During the event, HP, the leading multinational information technology company introduced its latest model the EliteBook 1040 and EliteBook 1050 x360.

The EliteBook series’ range-toppers following the rebranding of the Elite Dragonfly family to HP Dragonfly. The HP EliteBook 1040 G10 and Elite x360 1040 G10 improve on already excellent notebooks with 13th-generation Intel processors and additional webcam-related capabilities to make hybrid work simpler than ever. 

However, this isn’t the most interesting of updates as the PC giant today announced the release of the new EliteBook 1040 G10 notebook. The new notebook is configured and upgraded to the 13th generation Core P and U series processors, and backed by the highest optional 2K 120Hz screen.

The HP EliteBook 1040 G10

According to the official introduction, the new EliteBook 1040 G10 notebook can be fitted with 13th-generation Core P and U series processors and a core display arrangement. A 1600p and 1200p 120Hz high refresh displays are options for the 14-inch, 16:10 panel. The SSD is an optional 2TB, while the RAM is an optional 64GB dual-channel DDR5 type.

Other than that, this notebook weighs 1.179kg and has a thickness of 17.95mm. It has two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB-A port, one HDMI port, a SIM card port, and a headset port. The HP EliteBook 1040 G10 is anticipated to be on sale this spring, according to HP’s official website in other countries; the price will be announced closer to the time of the product introduction.

Windows 11 back the operating system of the new HP EliteBook 1040 G10, while 13th-generation Intel Core U-series and P-series processors featured the CPU. Additionally, it comes with intel’s integrated graphics, with up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD and 64GB DDR5 dual-channel SO-DIMM (slotted) Ram.

HP EliteBook 1040 G10 display includes 14-inch IPS, 16:10 aspect ratio, Full HD+ (1920 x 1200), 250 nits, anti-glare, 14-inch IPS, 16:10 aspect ratio, Full HD+ (1920 x 1200), 400 nits, anti-glare, low blue light, 14-inch IPS, 16:10 aspect ratio, Full HD+ (1920 x 1200), 1000 nits, HP Sure View Reflect and 14-inch IPS, 16:10 aspect ratio, Quad HD+ (2560 x 1600), 500 nits, 120Hz.

To enhance users’ experience, a 38Wh battery, 51.3Whr long-life battery and 65W USB-C power adapter powered the battery. Astounding, it also features Windows hello IR camera with fingerprint sensor, and a 5MP 88-degree FOV webcam (1080p video) + IR camera. The device comes in natural silver colour and supports different connectivities ranging from Wi-Fi 6E 2×2 to Bluetooth 5.3 and Cellular options: 5G sub-6 Cat20 and 4G LTE Cat16.
