Xbox has officially confirmed the list of new Xbox Game Pass games for January 2023. Microsoft usually releases information about new Xbox Game Pass titles at the start of the month, but this month’s announcement has been delayed.

The titles actually aren’t really new, but fans were eagerly anticipating their announcements because of an unusual trend for Xbox Game Pass during the previous few weeks. They all belong to renowned studios and are notable titles on their own, but Xbox has been hyping the January 2023 new game releases on Xbox Game Pass with the delay. So, fans might be disappointed to discover that nothing new has been added to the catalog.

New Xbox Game Pass games for January 2023: Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Monster Hunter Rise

Microsoft wants to draw attention to three of the new January month Xbox Game Pass games that will be available the following week. Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden, two iconic Atlus RPGs, will be among the new additions to the service starting on January 19 for Xbox consoles. In addition, you may start playing Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise on January 20.

In Persona 3 Portable, our protagonist moves to Gekkoukan High School and learns about a strange Dark Hour during which the world transforms and the Shadows monsters are let loose. The character goes out to investigate the specifics of the Dark Hour after uncovering their Persona. Persona 4 Golden, on the other hand, features a character who moves to the town of Inaba only to find a mysterious string of killings and more Shadows.

Moreover, in Monster Hunter Rise, you can join up with other players to fight dangerous creatures, make a range of gear, and keep the world from ending prematurely. Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden versions ought to be very comparable to other platforms’ releases of those games, however, players may find  Monster Hunter Rise significantly different.

Microsoft had also revealed the list of titles that would be departing on January 15, so users still have a few days to try out games like Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, The Anacrusis, and others.
