Genshin Impact delivers on its promise to tease future playable characters. HoYoverse has officially revealed Dehya and Mika, two new Genshin Impact 3.5 characters that will be released in the next update.

Ahead of the release of the new Genshin Impact update, Hoyoverse surprises fans by giving them a sneak peek into the future and announcing that Dehya and Mika will be the new playable characters coming in version 3.5. With every new update, the HoYoverse developer introduces one five-star and one four-star character, which is a fascinating trend.

The new 5-star and 4-star Genshin Impact characters are Dehya and Mika respectively

Dehya and Mika have already been leaked by data miners as the Genshin Impact 3.5 characters, we weren’t expecting their formal confirmation so soon. The Genshin Impact Twitter account included both characters along with brief descriptions and images.

According to leaks, Mika will play as a 4-star Polearm character, while Dehya will be a 5-star Claymore user. Some of their skills have also been revealed by the leakers. Both Dehya and Mika should be available to players in the first week of March if HoYoverse sticks to its regular release schedule for the next Genshin Impact 3.5 update.

Dehya’s elemental skill is comparable to Fischl’s in that it allows the user to move where the skill strikes and causes a small AoE explosion. Although Pyro used to be thought of as the game’s greatest element, the introduction of far more strong characters has forced Pyro out of the meta. Mika’s elemental skill, on the other hand, appears to have both a tap and a hold variant in his Cryo kit, with the tap variant dealing Cryo damage and marking nearby opponents.

Fans may discover more about them during the version 3.5 live stream, though they can enjoy the new content in the 3.4 version till then. Let’s wait and see what more the 3.5 update has to offer; if Genshin Impact provides any additional information, we’ll keep you updated.
