Last month, we saw how the Chinese smartphone brand iQOO unveiled its latest flagship – the iQOO Neo 7 series in the Chinese market. The smartphone includes the iQOO Neo 7, the iQOO Neo 7 SE, and the iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition.
Now, the smartphone brand has announced that it is all set to unveil the iQOO Neo 7 in India next month on February 16th. The Chinese variant has the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chip, 120Hz refresh rate, and 120W fast charging support. Regardless, the iQOO Neo 7 that’s set to launch in India could be a rebranded iQOO Neo 7 SE, based on a recent Geekbench listing. Let’s take a look at some of the expected specs and pricing.
iQOO Neo 7 Expected Specs
The iQOO Neo 7 is set to be India’s first phone with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC that will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM. If the iQOO Neo 7 India model is similar to the iQOO Neo 7 SE China, you can expect to see a 6.78-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
In terms of optics, the device will have a triple back camera arrangement with a 64 MP primary camera and two 2MP sensors as far as optics are concerned. It will have a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls on the front. Additionally, the phone could have a huge 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. Android 13 will probably come pre-installed on the smartphone.
Pricing and Availability
Since the smartphone was launched in China in four storage variants, we definitely expect to see similar variants in the Indian market from February 16th. However, a popular tipster recently claimed via its official Twitter page that the upcoming iQOO Neo 7 would start at around Rs 30,000 in India.
As it stands now, reports reveal that the 8GB+128GB variant will be priced at Rs 30,890, while the 8GB+256GB goes for Rs 34,400 and the 12GB+256GB for 37,800, and top of all, the 12GB+512GB variant will go for Rs 41,200.
The upcoming iQOO smartphone is expected to come in orange and black color options and will be available exclusively on Amazon.in India from February 16th.
