The latest hatch on a nest, LPDDR5T, functions at a data rate of 9.6 gigabits per second (Gbps), 13% higher than its predecessor, LPDDR5X1, wrapped off in November 2022. To point out the utmost speed of the product features, SK Hynix spiced up the ‘Turbo’ at the end of the standard LPDDR5.

Merely every diminutive has been interred with the latest add-on. LPDDR5T, which functions in the ultra-low voltage range of 1.01 to 1.12V flocked by the JEDEC (Joint Electron Device Engineering Council), is a machine that has ultra-low power consumption, which sets aside the fastest speed.

SK Hynix herded the technology to heights within two months after LPDDR5X mobile DRAM with 8.5Gbps specification which was debuted on the market in November 2022, SK Hynix said. “We will solidify our leadership in the mobile DRAM market by providing products of various storage capacities that meet customers’ needs.”

The company offered customers a sample of a multi-chip package, which consists of multiple LPDDR5T chips in one piece. The packaged device is deliberate to process 77GB of data per second, balanced to transfer fifteen full HD movies in a fraction of a second. Imagine yourself downloading 15 movies in one second.

SK Hynix thinks of arranging all the plates to mass produce LPDDR5T using 1anm, the fourth generation of the 10nm technology, in the year’s second half. The company amalgamated HKMG’s progress in the existing market product that ensures the development and delivery of valid performance. The company expects LPDDR5T to spread its tendrils to helm the market before the entry of the next-generation LPDDR6.
