Last year, July was an exciting moment in the mobile tech industry, as the world witnessed the official launch of India’s first locally made smartphone, the Nothing Phone 1. The device sparks interest around the globe with fascinating designs and specifications.

Now, the phone brand has confirmed plans to launch its successor, the Nothing Phone 2, later this year in various global markets.

Recently, the mobile brand’s CEO, Carl Pei, revealed that the Phone 2 will launch in the United States. According to him, the device’s key focus area will be providing a premium software experience. Additionally, Pei also revealed that the upcoming Phone 2 will be a more premium offering than the currently available model.

The Nothing Phone 2 is expected to launch in the second half of 2023. Ahead of the launch, some of the details about the upcoming smartphone have been revealed. A tweet from the popular tipster shows that the upcoming Nothing Phone 2 will come with the model number A065. Now, let’s take a look at the Nothing Phone 2 specifications and other details we know so far.

Nothing Phone 2: Everything You Need to Know

Unlike the Nothing Phone 1, the upcoming Nothing 2 will offer a flagship-grade experience with a premium offering. The device is expected to launch in the second half of 2023 with model number A065, whereas the Nothing Phone 1 came with the A063 model number back then.

As reported by MySmartPrice, the device is likely to feature an unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series SoC and come with a minimum of 12GB of RAM available, while 256GB of internal storage will be used as virtual RAM, which the phone will also support. Additionally, a 5000mAh battery will be present as an upgrade to the 4500mAh battery that was included with the initial Nothing smartphone.

As anticipated, there will be an AMOLED display on the front. The display will refresh at 120 Hz, and the adaptive display will update automatically depending on what is shown on the screen. Additionally, the device is anticipated to go on sale globally in the third quarter of 2023. The specific debut date has not yet been disclosed.
