Samsung is rolling out the second January 2023 Android security patch update for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic Bluetooth variant. The official changelog for this update only mentions enhancements for system security and stability, however, there are still possibilities that it also brings off a mend for the already found raise-to-wake gesture issue for the Galaxy Watch 4 customers.

Problems with Raise to Wake Galaxy Watch Feature

The raise to wake feature is one of the most beautiful installments in the device, but several users of Galaxy Watch 4 and 5 have taken umbrage at the irregular turns of the rise-to-wake feature in their watches. When users whirl their hands above the ground, beating up gravity to wake up the watch, the screen goes blank promptly.

To get it done, go to Galaxy wearable app on a connected Android phone and direct to Watch settings >> Watch software update >> Download and install. If an update is available, click k the “Update now” option, and on the Watch software update’ screen, strike the “Install now” button.
