Last week, Honor quietly launched the Magic 5 Lite in the European market. The smartphone is the successor to the Magic 4 Lite that was launched last year, equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor and packs 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage.

At the launch event, Honor pointed out that it will launch the Magic 5 series globally during the upcoming MWC 2023 in Spain. The Magic 5 series includes two lineups – the Magic 5 Pro and vanilla, with the Magic 5 Pro sitting at the top of the lineup, whereas the Magic 5 is said to offer flagship specs at a slightly lower price.

However, ahead of the official launch, the vanilla Magic 5 has been spotted on the Geekbench website, revealing some expected specifications of the smartphone.

Yet, the standard flagship should debut with 8GB of RAM as well. If the phone offers up to 256GB of storage, that wouldn’t be shocking.

Nevertheless, the next-gen Honor smartphone is expected to come with pre-installed Android 13. On top of Android, it should feature a layer of Magic UI. The listing additionally reveals that the phone’s Geekbench scores were 1411 and 4584. The results are for the benchmark platform’s single-core and multi-core tests.

As it stands now, other details about the upcoming smartphone are officially under wraps. Therefore, we expect to see the full specifications and pricing of the upcoming Magic 5 series in the coming days at the MWC 2023. Thus, stay connected with TechGenyz for more updates.
