Elden Ring, the latest game from veteran Japanese studio FromSoftware, published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, has been reported to have sold more than 20 million copies globally in just a year of its release. On 25th February last year, the action role-playing game was released and also won the 2022 TGA Game of the Year.
Announcing the development, the video game’s official Twitter page thanked players and consumers for their support and companionship, with a post denoting the 20 million copies sold.
“Today, it is officially announced that “Eirden’s Circle” has officially exceeded 20 million cumulative global sales! I sincerely thank every fader for their support and companionship, and please look forward to more developments in the future.”
Last year, Elder Ring attracted a lot of attention, succeeding in the commercial area as well as from critics who gave the game “FromSoftware” a positive reputation. A huge audience, not just fans of the Souls video games, was reached by word of mouth, which aided in the dissemination of information about the Elden Ring. The game had 16,6 million copies sold as of June 30th. More than a thousand units have been supplied in the last six months, despite the recent slowdown in sales.

Elden Circle is a dark fantasy-style open-world role-playing action game released by Bandai Namco. Available on Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/Xbox Series A. The game allows players to enter the vast scene and underground labyrinth to explore the unknown, challenge difficult and dangerous situations, and at the same time experience the group drama composed of the stakes between the characters on the stage.
