In February this year, the Lenovo Xiaoxin 14 2023 was officially announced in the Chinese market with an AMD R5 7530U processor, which adopts the Zen 3 architecture and 7nm process with 6 cores and 12 threads. The notebook acceleration frequency reaches 4.5GHz 16MB L3 cache, Vega 7 core display, and GPU frequency up to 2000MHz.

Now, in not more than a month, the PC giant has introduced the Lenovo Xiaoxin 14 2023 Ryzen Edition. As the name suggests, the latest model features an AMD processor instead of an Intel chip. Unlike the earlier model, the Ryzen Edition comes with some impressive specs like face unlock, 1080p webcam, metal body, and more. Let’s take a look at the same.

Lenovo Xiaoxin 14 2023 Ryzen Edition Specs

An AMD Ryzen 5 7530U mobile processor powers the Lenovo Xiaoxin 14 2023 Ryzen Edition. This 7nm processor has a maximum clock speed of 4.5GHz, 6 cores, 12 threads, and 16MB L3 cache, and is based on the Zen 3 architecture.

The laptop has a 14-inch LCD screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. It has a metal body that measures 16.9 mm in thickness and weighs 1.46 kg.

Additionally, it has every necessary port, including two USB Type-C connectors, two USB Type-A ports, an HDMI port, a MicroSD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Regrettably, a face authentication mechanism based on an IR camera is provided instead of a fingerprint sensor.

Amazingly, the notebook also comes equipped with speakers that support Dolby Atmos and a 1080p webcam. It starts with Windows 11 and has the Home and Student Version of Microsoft Office pre-installed. Besides, it supports up to 65W USB PD charging and is powered by a 56.6Wh battery.

Pricing and Availability

The laptop is available in a single configuration with 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD and 16GB dual-channel RAM. The cost is $580. From today, March 13, you may pre-order the notebook; it will be available for purchase starting on March 20. As part of the launch offer, it will be offered for sale for a brief period at a discounted price of $520.
