When it comes to photo, media, and video sharing, Instagram is the number one social networking service among its competitors. Over the years, the app has been known for its commitment to enhancing users’ experience by frequently introducing fascinating features.

The meta-owned social media service has billions of users around the world. And it can achieve this through its stunning features. The Instagram live video feature is one of the most talked-about of the app that gets users excited.

Go Live Only For Followers You Follow Back

Now, the social media service is reportedly working on upgrading the feature to enrich users’ experience on the platform. It is a known fact that Instagram live is a feature that lets you live stream or broadcast video to your Instagram followers in real-time.

As confirmed by the popular tipster, Instagram is working on the ability to go live only for followers you follow back. Alessandro Paluzzi, who broke the news via his Twitter page shared an image option of the upcoming ability.

In the image, three options are included namely, “Everyone, Followers you follow back, and Close friends.” With this option, Instagram users can now choose to go live only for followers that follow them back.

Instagram launched its live video feature in late 2016. Since then, the social media company has built up the function by adding other features like questions and the option to add friends to the live video, too.

As a matter of fact, going live on Instagram can be a fun way to let your followers see events happening in real-time, like a concert or special event. Currently, the roll-out date of the new ability is unknown yet as it is under development. But it will soon be released, thus, stay tuned.
