In December last year, Redmi announced the Redmi Watch 3 with the Redmi Band 2 in its host country. The Watch 3 arrives as the successor to last year’s Watch 2 whereas the Band 2 follows the original Band that debuted back in 2020. Today, the Chinese tech giant has now launched the device in the worldwide market.

The newly announced Redmi Watch 3 shares some similar features with the Chinese variants as they both come with a 1.75-inch AMOLED display, sports modes, and GPS-based location monitoring. Now, let’s take a tour of the device.

Like the earlier Chinese Redmi Watch 3, the new Watch 3 has a 1.75-inch AMOLED display and provides good sight even in broad sunshine. Also, the smartwatch comes with a 5ATM water-resistant certification, so that users can take it swimming without fear of damage from moisture or sweat.

To enhance users’ sporting experience, the Redmi Watch 3 includes 120 sports modes, such as running, cycling, and swimming, as well as sleep tracking capabilities to track your sleeping patterns over time for improved overall health management.

The Redmi Watch 3 is powered by a 289mAh battery unit that is claimed to deliver 12 days of usage on a single charge. Whereas, it is also equipped with a heart-rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, sleep and stress tracker, breather exercise, and women’s menstrual cycle monitor.

In addition, this watch has a ton of additional features that make it stand out, such as Bluetooth music control, notification alerts when paired with your phone, and a ton of other features that are designed to enhance the user experience while performing daily activities. The company has also introduced Bluetooth calling capability to the smartwatch.

Pricing and Availability

Unlike the Chinese variant which goes for a less price of RMB 499, the new Redmi Watch 3 is offered at EUR 199. The device comes in the same color as the earlier one in Black and Ivory. According to the brand, the smartwatch will be soon available to purchase in the selected global markets through official retailers and online channels.
