Back in 2018, OPPO introduced its prime A series – the OPPO A1. The smartphone was an idol of its time as it came with a 3180 mAh Li-Ion non-removable battery and was fuelled by a MediaTek MT6763T Helio P23 processor. Not too long ago, in 2022, it unveiled more series in the model which includes OPPO A1 Pro and A1 Pro 5G.
Today, the Chinese maker has announced a new A-series entry-level model named – OPPO A1x 5G in the Chinese market. Unlike the previous models, the new OPPO A1x 5G is powered by Dimensity 700 + with a 5000mAh battery. It offers two versions of 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB as an exception to the old models.
OPPO A1x 5G Design and Display
The 6.56-inch LCD screen on this smartphone supports a high refresh rate color 0Hz, a 100% DCI-P3 broad color gamut, a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels, a maximum of 600 nits, and several eye safety features.
The OPPO A1x 5G mobile phone’s rear shell doesn’t have a unique pattern design, and its overall aesthetic is quite straightforward and energizing. The back camera module, which has two rear cameras and a flash, has a double-ring design. The device’s front features a water drop-shaped LCD screen, and the frame is angled at right angles.

Unlike the previous models, the imaging system of OPPO A1x 5G is worth mentioning. The device has a 13-megapixel main camera on the back, a 2-megapixel secondary camera for portrait shots, an 8-megapixel front camera, and a 10-megapixel rear camera that can record video at up to 30 frames per second.
OPPO A1x 5G Processor and Battery
OPPO A1x 5G is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G mobile phone processor built by TSMC’s 7nm process. The A76’s flagship architecture is adopted by this processor, which has good performance output and can handle the daily demands of typical users.
The device includes a 5000 mAh big capacity built-in battery, which can last for 7.4 hours of gaming or 11.49 hours of surfing through short videos. And also to enrich users’ gaming experience.
OPPO A1x 5G Pricing and Availability
As the new entry-level smartphone offers two versions of 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB, the former is priced at 1399 yuan, and the latter is priced at 1599 yuan. Unlike its predecessors, OPPO A1x 5G comes in black and sky blue colors. According to the brand, the smartphone is currently available in China for pre-order sales.
