When it comes to foldable phones, Samsung is always at the forefront. However, in recent years, most brands like OPPO, Xiaomi, Vivo, and Huawei have been competing with the brand in the foldable sphere. Despite their vying, Samsung is still at the zenith as we can see in the current Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4.

In the next few months, the brand is expected to expand its foldable lineup with the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5. Ahead of the official announcement several leaks have revealed some specifications of the devices. A new leak by tipster SuperRoader just confirmed that the Galaxy Z Flip 5 cover screen will be massive compared to the current Z Flip 4.

According to the leaks, the Galaxy Z Flip 5’s exterior display included some concept pictures and a video that depicts a design that is 2000% accurate. Some sources have since confirmed that the concept, which depicted the larger, weirdly shaped outer screen, was fairly accurate.

Additionally, rumours also suggest a significant increase in the size of the cover display for the Galaxy Z Flip 5. The cover screen of the first Z Flip model was only 1.1 inches in size, however, it was increased to 1.9 inches on the following two models. Although it wasn’t a significant improvement, it did make the cover screen reasonably usable compared to the original Galaxy Z Flip.

As indicated by the tipster, the Z Flip 5’s exterior display area will essentially take up the maximum amount of space, allowing us to accomplish considerably more without needing to unfold the phone. Although capturing high-quality selfies with the rear cameras will undoubtedly be the best use of the larger outside screen, other activities, including monitoring notifications and responding to messages, should also be more convenient.

Meanwhile, there is no indication of whether or not the primary foldable display will change. Again, nothing is guaranteed at this moment, but a water drop hinge ought to make the creaseless noticeable. However, going by previous leaks the upcoming foldable phones are expected to come bigger as usual. Thus stay connected with TechGenyz for more updates.
