Clash of Clans, the popular mobile strategy game, has recently announced the Builder Base 2.0 update. The update promises to bring back the fun and tactical gameplay of the early Builder Hall levels and add more depth to the late-game Builder Base. In this article, we’ll discuss the changes to COC Builder Base 2.0 attacking, defending, and base-building sides of the game and what they mean for players.

What’s new in the Clash Of Clans Builder Base 2.0 update?

The new COC Builder Base 2.0 update has made several changes to both attacking and defending, and base building. Let’s explore each one of them.

Attacking:

In Builder Base 2.0, attacking has become more strategic. The update introduces fewer but stronger troops with active abilities. This means players will have to put more thought into their army composition and deployment.

Defending:

The new update introduces a second buildable area that comes with its own key building, O.T.T.O’s Outpost. Your buildings will now be split across two stages, and you can swipe back and forth between stages at will. You can also swap defenses back and forth between stages, opening up a lot of interesting base design potential.

Base Building:

From Builder Hall 6 onwards, things will get a bit more complicated. Players will have a second buildable area, which will have its own key building, O.T.T.O’s Outpost. Your buildings will be split across the two stages, and you can swipe back and forth between stages at will. You can also work on upgrades anywhere, without being limited to upgrading things in the stage where your buildings are located.

How does COC attack work in the multiple-stage builder bases?

After the new Builder Base 2.0 update, when you attack an opponent’s base, you can only see the first stage. You must choose an army and prepare an attack that will be able to destroy this level. The troops that made it through the first stage will return to your deployment bar and gain some healing if you earn three stars.

You’ll then see the opponent’s second stage, and you can swap your reinforcement camps to be whatever troop you need in Clash Of Clans. If you defeat O.T.T.O’s Outpost, exceed the 150% destruction threshold, and achieve the 200% destruction threshold, you’ll receive an additional three stars in the second stage.

Conclusion

The Builder Base 2.0 update promises to make Clash Of Clans more exciting and engaging. With a renewed focus on strategy, the new update promises to bring back the fun and smart play that is rewarded in the early stages of the game.
