As we discovered a tweet from the popular mobile tipster, Mukul Sharma said the Xiaomi Pad 6 is confirmed to launch soon in China and might be launched alongside the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.

In a similar vein, Lu Weibing, Redmi general manager and president of Xiaomi Group, has also revealed that the Xiaomi Pad 6 will be available soon in a recent conversation with Weibo users.

Given the above, it might be rightly said that the new Xiaomi Pad 6 will be alongside the Xiaomi 13 Ultra on April 18th in China. Although no official confirmation yet from the mobile brand. Let’s take a look at the expected specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi pad.

Xiaomi Pad 6 Expected Specs

The Xiaomi Pad 6 series offers two versions, the standard version and the Pro version. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen SoC will be used in the Pro model instead of the Snapdragon 870 SoC in the standard edition.

The SD 8+ Gen 1 SoC is built using the 4nm technology from TSMC. Cortex-X2 + 3 Cortex-A710 + 4 Cortex-A510 make up the CPU. These cores have respective frequencies of 3.19GHz, 2.75GHz, and 2.02GHz.

The official claims that the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 consumes 15% less power overall than the Qualcomm 8 Gen 1. Moreover, a 30% reduction in CPU and GPU power usage is achieved. It is a respectable improvement over the SD8 Gen1 SoC.

Meanwhile, all versions will include a Chinese screen that supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, claims well-known Weibo tech blogger @DCS. A 2.8K LCD screen will be included with this tablet in addition to the flagship SoC. Also, this panel will feature a 2880 x 1800p resolution with a swift refresh rate of 120 or 144 Hz.

The Xiaomi Pad 6 series also has a 10,000 mAh battery and a twin camera module on the back. It will also support a physical fingerprint sensor, a redesigned keyboard, 67W quick charging, and a stylus. Moreover, the Xiaomi Pad 6’s camera module will resemble that of the company’s flagship Xiaomi 13.
