In mid-February this year, iQOO announced the iQOO Neo 7 as a mid-range 5G smartphone under Rs 30,000. The device takes a resemblance to the recently launched Redmi Note 12 Pro+ and Realme 10 Pro+ smartphones. As we are anticipating the recently rendered iQOO Neo 8 series, a new leak has just confirmed the coming of the iQOO Neo 7 Pro.
Earlier this month, we reported that the iQOO Neo 8 was rendered on the Geekbench website featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, Android 13 and 16GB. Not too long after the iQOO Neo 8 Pro was also rendered on the AnTuTu website revealing some expected specifications. Given the alleged renders, the mobile brand subsequently confirmed last week that the iQOO Neo 8 series will be officially announced on May 23 in China along with the iQOO Pad and TWS Air Pro.
The iQOO Neo 7 Pro
In a recent tweet from the popular tipster Mukul Sharma, he affirmed that the Chinese brand is planning to launch a new iQOO Neo 7 Pro, a successor to the iQOO Neo 7 launched in February this year. According to the tipster, the upcoming Neo phone will be announced in the Indian market first by the end of this month or by early next month.
Unfortunately, at the time press, the tipster hasn’t revealed any details of the device as he promised to so shortly. Meanwhile, in a different report, the iQOO Neo 7 Pro is confirmed to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000+ and comes with an LTPO3 AMOLED display, 6.78 inches, 20:9 ratio and 1440 x 3200 pixels.
For the optical, double 50 MP and 16 MP will feature the main cameras with 3x optical zoom is also expected, while the front camera will be backed by 16 MP for video calls. Additionally, we anticipate similar features of the iQOO Neo 7 in the upcoming Pro version like 5000 battery capacity of 120W fast charging and different storage of 12/256GB and up to 12/512 GB. As it stands now, we don’t have more details about the device yet but we promise to keep you updated.
