As artificial intelligence, AI technologies continue to reshape the future of the world, the Chinese multinational technology company, Baidu has announced multiple AI devices at the 2023 Mobile Ecosystem Conference held today.
At the conference, the firm pointed out that the innovations brought about by Generative AI (AIGC) are subversive and will mark a new departure point for AI development, thereby bringing fundamental changes to various industries.
As we all know, Baidu is one of the world’s leading industries in the AI sphere with Google and Microsoft as the major competitor. Some of the new AI technologies announced are AI BOT, Baidu Youyou, a new smart e-commerce branindustriesopping guide assistants and AI partners that support multiple rounds of dialogue and real-time search.
Baidu’s New AI Devices
Xiao Yang, the Vice President of Baidu Group and head of the search platform partners speaking on the new AI devices proposed the dual capabilities based on semantic retrieval technology + large language model, claims that the AI partner function can realize intelligent dialogue and multiple rounds of interaction, lowering the user’s input expression threshold and cost; the AI BOT function creates virtual AI clones for content and service providers such as creators, merchants, institutions, and brands; and the AI BOT function can realize intelligent dialogue and multiple rounds of interaction.
According to He Junjie, the Senior Vice President of Baidu Group and General Manager of Baidu Mobile Ecosystem Business Group, the internal testing of Baidu’s AI partner has included AI BOT and other features, as well as a NEW App that combines the aforementioned features.
Baidu also introduced its smart homepage mode, One Person, One World, during this conference. According to their preferences and routines, users can select the default homepage, a big picture homepage, a video homepage, a novel homepage, etc.
Besides, a variety of smart business management solutions, including AI shopping guide assistants, e-commerce AI anchor production platforms, and business operation capability models, were also introduced at the conference, along with the debut of a new smart e-commerce brand called Baidu Youyou. Meanwhile, the newly enhanced Baidu content ecological AIGC production tool was also revealed by Song Jian, Baidu’s deputy general manager. The tool aims to help 100,000 creators and generate more than 3 billion yuan in revenue.
