Samsung had launched Gear 360 in 2017, and that gadget proved itself to be revolutionary in the midst of other available recording devices. The device offered a 360 degrees view of the world in 4K definition and made it easier for the user to share one of its kind content with the world through their Gear 360 app.

The Gear 360 app not only lets the user go live, change the view of the content as they liked and pleased, but also lets them share the content in whichever way they prefer.

Initially, Samsung devices were facing some issues regarding connectivity to the app. Samsung community was fast enough to resolve it.

However, recently in the same forum, some people have complained about the same connectivity issue. This time the user is facing the same connectivity problem but in iOS devices.

From the looks of the problem, it appears so that the 360 apps are having a problem with iOS 13.2.1. The same goes for iOS 13.1.3. Some people have complained about the problem that after updating the operating system, the 360 apps are failing to connect to the phone.

Some users on the Samsung community platform have suggested updating the 360 apps itself so that it becomes compatible with the latest iOS but to no avail. The last update for the app was rolled out 7 months ago, and since then all has been quiet on the Samsung front.

Apparently, the developing team is zeroing on in this issue and trying to solve it as soon as possible. Meanwhile, an alternative solution, that may or may not work, has been given on the platform. It should be noted that the solution would not work in phones that didn’t have Gear 360 app installed prior to iOS 13 update (Not available for iPhone 11 yet since it came with iOS 13 out of the box). Also, this will not work if the Gear 360 app didn’t have access to locations prior to the iOS 13 update.

To patch fix this problem, the users need to turn on location service of Gear 360 to either “Always” or “While Using the App” in the Privacy settings.
