Xiaomi announced Mi 6, Mi 6A, and Mi 6 Pro in the Indian market quite recently. There has been a lot of rumor about the upgraded Mi Note 6 Pro with various leaked videos of its unboxing, yet the phone hasn’t been officially announced. Today, however, Thailand has become one of the first countries to welcome the unannounced phone into their market.

Strangely there hasn’t been any official announcement about the phone yet it has been made to a number of stores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is being marketed at the price of THB 6,999 (215 USD and Rs 15,999 in Indian currency) and is available in three shades Black, Blue, and Rose Gold. As per records, the Note 6 Pro is the costliest smartphone under the Mi banner, and we only hope it’s worth it.

The hype about Xiaomi Note 6 Pro is its sports notch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a screen ratio of 86%, better than the 18:9 aspect ratio of its predecessor, the Note 5 Pro. There has been little or no change in the back design, using a traditional three-stage design with the middle part made of metal and the two ends of plastic to provide better antenna signal transmission. The phone is packed with a whopping 6.26-inch full-screen display with HD+ and gorilla glass protection.

There’s only one phone variant available: 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Processor, basically the same as the Note 5 Pro. It additionally comes with Kyro 260 CPU and Adreno 509 GPU.

Running on 8.1 Android Oreo Out of the box with MIUI 9.6 on top, the phone’s biggest strength is its 4,000 mAh battery. This gives you 34 hours of constant music or 6 hours of intense gaming, or 8.5 hours of video streaming or 19.5 hours of calling. Forget power bank for life! The device also packs a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Coming to the most anticipated and highly awaited part of any smartphone, release its camera. Well, the Note 6 Pro kills with its dual camera setup both in the front and back. The rear setup is a combination of the 12MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture and a 5MP secondary camera with a sensor. The front camera pairs a 20MP primary camera with f/2.0 and a 2MP secondary lens. The front camera has a portrait mode, enabling the AI face to unlock.
