HP and Acer introduced a number of PCs and laptops at CES 2019. First of all, HP introduced the Spectre x360 15, which is unique and one of a kind for its AMOLED display. HP also made the HP Spectre Folio available in Bordeaux Burgundy with a 4K display option. The HP Spectre Folio will be solely available on its official website, HP.com, and its pricing starts at $1,309.99. HP will also release its ENVY USB-C Hub which comes with two USB-A charging ports and an HDMI 2.0 port with 4K resolution support. The pricing will start at $79.99. All of these are expected to be available in March 2019.

At the CES, HP also unveiled a new series of Pavilion displays. One of them is the HP Pavilion 27 Quantum Dot which takes the display game to another level. The HP Pavilion 27 FHD sports B&O audio and a pop-up privacy camera. The HP Pavilion 27 Quantum Dot and the HP Pavilion 27 FHD will be available in March and are priced at $399 and $329, respectively. The HP Pavilion 32 QHD comes with a QHD display, is priced at $379.99, and will be available in June.

Apart from these, in the arena of gaming display, HP also announced the OMEN X Emperium 65 Big Format Gaming Display with NVIDIA G-SYNC HDR. The world’s first big format gaming display with soundbar OMEN X Emperium Soundbar will be available in February at $4,999. HP has upgraded their OMEN PCs and added NVIDIA’s latest graphics cards and optional 802.11ax Wi-Fi. It will be available in July. The OMEN Obelisk Desktop is perhaps the only desktop to receive myriad updates with 64 GB of HyperX Memory, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080Ti graphics, and a 9th Generation Intel Core i9-9900K CPU, dual SSD w/ RAID0, and liquid cooling. This, along with the other PCS, will be available in March and priced at $2,249.99.

HP’s New Elite products will come with Sure View Gen3 for secure working. The HP EliteDisplay E243p will have an already embedded privacy screen and will be available in February. The HP EliteOne 800 AiO G4 will also have the same privacy screen as the E243p, and it will be available in June.

Acer too introduced a number of products at the CES this year. First of all, Acer introduced Swift 7 (SF714-52T), which looks like it does not have a bezel and thus has a 92% screen-to-body ratio; having been made with magnesium-lithium and magnesium-aluminum alloys, it weighs only two pounds, and it provides balanced support to the keyboard while typing. It runs on the 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8500Y processor and comes with expandable memory up to 512 GB of fast PCIe SSD storage and an LPDDR3 RAM of up to 16 GB. There are two USB Type-C ports that support supporting Thunderbolt 3, and USB 3.1 Generation 2. A backlit keyboard, 1.1 mm of travel distance, the coming Gorilla Glass touchpad, and a fingerprint reader for logging in make this an instant object of desire to tech enthusiasts.

Two gaming notebooks, the Acer Predator Triton 900 and the Predator Triton 500, have also been announced at the CES. Both of them come with Acer’s advanced cooling system and Coolboost technology. The Predator Triton 900 features a CNC-machined Ezel Aero Hinge, and the users can use all four usage modes of sharing the screen, playing games on the touchscreen, traditionally playing games, and using the 900 as essentially a tablet. It runs on the 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor and has a memory of up to 32 GB DDR4.

It features NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPU and a 17-inch 4K IPS [2] display with NVIDIA G-SYNC and an Xbox wireless receiver. The Predator Triton 500 has a 15.6-inch Full HD display and supports 8 hours of battery life. The Predator Triton 500, like the 900, runs on the 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor. It also sports GeForce RTX 2080 GPUs with Max-Q Design. It has a DDR4 memory of up to 32 GB. The NVIDIA G-SYNC technology makes playing games on this PC smooth. Acer also claims that the predator PCs can be controlled from a smartphone using the PredatorSense mobile app. This feature will be available later this year.
